Hello, Northeastern University students!

myala is being built with students, for students.

Like all of us, myala is a work in progress. You can help to make myala better by using the app for a few minutes every day and giving us feedback on how the app is working for you, what you like, what’s not working.

We welcome feedback on all aspects of myala – from functionality and content, to branding and communications. Occasionally we’ll send surveys asking about specific features and design decisions, and invite you to focus groups or design workshops.

To start, download the myala app.

Download myala from the App Store or Google Play.

You’ll need your name, phone number and your email ending in .edu to sign in. We’ll send you a code via text message and an email to confirm your phone number and email.

How to get the most out of myala.

  1. In the Your Support section of the myala app, invite your friends or family to be part of your support team. After they accept, they appear in your support team list. You can add or remove supporters at any time.
  2. You can customize the text message that myala sends out to your friends asking for support. (This is optional).
  3. When you want support, all you need to do is to tap the myala signal button in the app. myala sends a text message to each person on your support team asking them to get in touch with you.


Get updates on what’s changing, and keep up to date with the latest version of the app.

We use a Google Group mailing list to send news about new app releases, and have added you to the group. Please add hap-trustedtesters@flourishlabs.net to your contacts to ensure you see the emails.
